Rubies Costume Co. EZ-On Romper Costume, Dragon / DinosaurReviewsEveryone commented on how cute he looked - it was a really cute costume! The only problem I had was the snap on the head piece broke apart the first time I used it. I had to use a safety pin to keep it closed. We loved the dinosaur costume. It kept our little one warm and was really cute. He didn't mind wearing it and at 6 months old some costumes are a problem to keep on. This costume worked very well. Very cute costume. The description did not give much info on what the sizes were, other than 25-40lbs for the infant size. My son just turned 2 and weighs about 30lbs, so I went ahead and bought the infant size, even though he would be considered a toddler. The costume fit him almost perfectly, just a bit too short so that the neck of the costume was not as high on him as it probably should be. The packaging on the infant size said 6-12 months. I believe this would be WAY to big for a 6 month old. The "head" of the costume is a separate piece from the body of the costume, and my son refused to wear it. (He still looked very cute, I think!) Based on the picture, I thought the hands of the costume were mittens; they are not. The hands are attached to the outside of the sleeves, and attach to the child's wrists via elastic bands. My son didn't like the elastic, either. The costume is polyester, so it can get warm. There are two snaps in the back, and snaps up the inside of the legs to make diaper changes easier. All in all, I think this was a very cute costume, and I am glad I got it for my son. This is our son's first Halloween costume, and I love it! The material (although synthetic) is very soft to the touch and light. My only complaint is that the 'scales' on the head piece don't really stand up (like they do in the picture of the costume), so I'm trying to figure out how to make them stand up before Saturday (Halloween). Rubies Costume Co. EZ-On Romper Costume, Monkey See Monkey DoReviewsCute costume but banana doesnt sit right also colors are a little funny. Its adorable though - and the 6-12 month size fit my 20 month old son perfectly (he's a little petite but nothing major). This costume is cute, but it is definitely made of cheap material. Also, I didn't realize how heavy the material was either. I guess it would be good if you live in a place that is cold around Halloween, but in California this costume can be too hot for daytime use. It did fit my son well, except the feet are HUGE. The feet make it look more like a lion than a monkey. But overall, everyone thought he looked cute, so it worked. Just don't expect anything fabulous. It's definitely not a "green" costume if you are concerned about that, considering the material. Oh, and also does not make for easy diaper changes either. I wanted a cute and inexpensive costume for our 17 month old (our child is small - he's under 20 lbs, so he fit in the 6-12 month size), and I chanced upon this monkey romper. The price couldn't be beat, so I ordered it and was very pleased with the speed of the delivery and the quality of the costume. It's very cute and we got a lot of compliments on it. It's easy to get on and off (handy for those diaper changes) as it holds together with Velcro. The only minor negatives are that if your baby is a walker, the big feet have a tendency to twist a bit (not bad though), and of course, you can't send the child walking outside in them. Also, the Velcro in the crotch can come undone (easily fixed) if the child toddles around a lot. Overall, we're very pleased with this purchase. I got this costume for my 10 month old and it is super cute. I didn't particularly want the banana on her head, so I just picked it off and sewed a big pink bow on the head so people would know she's a little girl. It wasn't the most expensive costume, but she's gotten a lot of use out of it between Halloween and pictures. I am a very themed mother. So I searched for a good monkey costume for my five month old. I was excited when I recieved it, because it was so cute and even more on. We live in Alabama, so you never know what the weather is going to do. After being so hot, halloween was actually pretty cold. The head gear worked great! It covered my little boy's ears and kept him warm. I also loved the easy to un-buckle diaper area which made the process easier. Great product! Hope you enjoy as much as we did. Average Rating:![]() |

Rubies Cozy CowReviewsI bought this costume for my baby's first Halloween, and he was adorable! The costume looks as expected. The only complaint I have is that the velcro that holds it together (between the legs) comes apart easily. Snaps would have been better. I also wish it was made with a little bit more durable fabric. But it was super cute. This has endured a couple times through the washing machine and is still doing well. Pleasantly surprised. Great quality, velcro closures, not cheap buttons (better and less expensive than the same item found locally). Fabric was medium weight and the costume was well made and had no defects in construction. Size allowed for ample wiggle room (we were able to put a warm sleeper underneath). My grandchild wore it comfortably (including the hood) the entire evening for trick or treating. All in all couldn't be happier with the Rubies Costume Co. EX-On Romper Costume, Cozy Cow, 6-12 month size. The cow head (hood) and the bodysuit was a little big on my 17 lbs, 24" tall 6-month old baby, but it still looked pretty cute on him. The hood is an individual piece that's secured in place with a velcro taped at the neck. The ears, horn and tail all stood it's place. The material was thin and a bit rough but since it was chilly on Halloween, my baby wore something soft underneath. The black dots losted some of it's dark color and became slightly grayish after 2 washes (before and after wear). Overall, I think this costume is cute, but overpriced for the quality of it. The costume arrived with the velcro (on the back) fell off. Even with the velcro on, there is a big opening. Shouldn't they make a zipper to seal the opening? The whole costume is made of cheap materials. We handwashed the product with cold water as instructed and noticed the black color turns to grey. Well, not all the black patches turned to grey. The hat piece was ok. Stay away from them if you can. I bought this for my 7 1/2 month old daughter to wear for halloween and she was ADORABLE. What made this costume so good is I added white felt "ear tags" with her initial on one and the number 7 on the other one.Everyone thought she was the cutest thing ever.It is thin, but I felt that it wasn't an issue. It was cold and rainy when we went trick or treating and she wore a onesie, plus a fleece top and pants under it.She weighs approximately 19 lbs. and there was plenty of room in the costume. It could have used some more velcro, especially up the back,it gapped open some but it wouldn't be at all hard to add.We went to the grocery store afterwards and the cashiers said it was the cutest costume they had seen all night.
