Most costumes I've found at this price point are cheaply made from cheap materials. This Supergirl costume was a pleasant surprise. The colors are vivid and rich and the fabric is actually fairly sturdy and nice. The blue bodice is a medium weight, stretchy velveteen, and the skirt and attached cape are a substantial sort of glossy, metallic red fabric. I bought it for my tall (34 inches) but thin (26 pounds) 18 month old daughter for Halloween, and it actually fit her really well, other than the belt, which was too big, but I easily fixed that with some velcro strips. And it still fits her now that she's grown an inch and gained 2 pounds, because of the stretchy velvet, I think. The only thing that is not great are the boot covers, which my daughter refuses to wear because they slide around on her legs and foot in an annoying way that can make her trip. Even after Halloween, she still likes to play dress up in her Supergirl costume.

Ordered for my daughter's Halloween costume and it fit perfect, she wears a size 4T. She loved it and wore it all day long. It was a lot better quality than any store costume! the only things that bothered me were that the belt kept riding up so I wish there were loops or something to keep it in place, the "boots" or shoe covers were a little big and kept scrunching down, and I wish that it would've come with some type of bloomer to go underneath the skirt. Other than that it was what I wanted and well worth the buy.

My little girl is two and I wanted to buy her something for Halloween that had a cape, because she has been going around the house with a blanket on her back going Ta-Da to everyone. So supergirl was the perfect answer. After I read the reviews, I thought I would give it a chance. It is well worth it. It is durable and fun and I would recomend it to everyone.

We bought this for Halloween last fall and my youngest daughter loved it! The 'boots' were big on her, but other than that, the costume is adorable! She's played with it over and over again, so it was worth the money spent for all the play time she's gotten out of it!

Super cute, super easy. Made well enough to last through Halloween and several parties and dress up play times. Very cute for the girl who is more hero than princess.

I love the costume...the problem is the costume comes in a very large size. My daughter is a size 4 bottoms 5 tops and it is way to large for her. We now have to buy another costume to fit her this yr. Should be good for next yr! :)
